Health Testing of Our Breeding Dogs: All our breeding dogs undergo Embark testing and OFA testing to ensure they are healthy and genetically sound. Embark testing analyzes over 200,000 genetic markers to identify breed-specific health issues, helping us make informed breeding decisions. OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) testing evaluates hip, elbow, heart, and eye health, ensuring our dogs meet high standards. This commitment to rigorous health testing is crucial for producing puppies with the best possible temperaments and genetic backgrounds, contributing to their ultimate well-being and longevity.

Socialization Practices: We take great care to ensure your puppy is well-socialized and ready to thrive in a variety of environments. Our puppies are exposed to:

• Sound Desensitization: Your puppy will be gently introduced to common sounds such as thunder, fireworks, gunshots, and farm noises to help alleviate fears, especially during holidays like the Fourth of July.

• Early Potty Training Techniques: From a young age, your puppy will begin learning potty training basics, setting them up for quicker success when they arrive home.

• Interaction with People and Animals: Your puppy will be socialized with our children, other dogs, and regularly handled by humans, ensuring they are comfortable and confident around people and pets.

• Early Crate Training Exposure: To make the transition from our home to yours as smooth as possible, we start crate training exposure early, helping your puppy become comfortable and familiar with their crate before they arrive in their new home.

The Blue Denim Curriculum: Our puppies are raised on the Blue Denim Curriculum, a specialized program we’ve developed over the years by seeing firsthand what works best for each litter. This curriculum includes a blend of enrichment activities, early training techniques, and socialization practices that help shape well-adjusted puppies. We refine it with every litter to ensure we’re always offering the best start for each of our pups. 

Please note: While our puppies benefit greatly from the Blue Denim Curriculum, they still require continuous work and structure to maintain the well-rounded, well-behaved temperament you expect. Consistency in training is key to making sure they remain that dream dog you’ve always wanted!
